trusting ebay for a/c compatible downpipe?
im workin on boosting my d series and i want to retain my a/c and power steering. ive found a 5 bolt down pipe for my turbonetics t3 t4 that says it can retain a/c. should i trust ebay that it will actually do this? im not tryin to spend 250 for a completely custom down pipe to keep the a/c. anyone had anyexperience with this on ebay before??
i've bought ebay bovs, intercoolers, turbos, wastegates, manifolds, and downpipes. the downpipes never lined up. don't get ebay downpipes. everything else never had problems with.
my homeboy bought an ebay downpipe a month or two ago. not even close to fitting. it is way too short wont reach the turbo. ive heard great things about spoolin. hit him up

hes waiting on someone to say yes go ahead they fit fine. and no, they dont. so go ahead and buy one, and when it doesnt fit contact SP
are these universal downpipes or something? with so many manifold options, i don't see how any of them would come close to fitting unless it was made for a particular manifold.
i had two threads an in one of them i asked how much it would probly cost to have one modified to fit with a/c without having one completely custom made, i wasnt waiting for someone to say yes. my bad
Its not gonna fit, I bought one just to see if it did and if not I had a friend who would make it work so it was no big deal. But yeah..lets just say plan on modifying it.
just order the flange you need for your turbo and some pipe bends and mock one up, then have someone weld it for you, less expensive and fits your application this way
