Hey honda-tech.
I have a like dillema here and i need your guys/gals opinion.
The car:
97 black ek (hatchback)
B20b motor (non-vtech)
Lowered on tanabe springs
Benen front strut bar
Benen rear tie bar
Megan h brace
Enkie rpf1 16 in silver
what would you do next out of the following?
Suspension upgrade? Full Coilovers...not sure what brand..
Put a vtec head.
Paint the car blue and powdercoat rims to bronze.

well what do u want out of the car man?
do u want speed, do u want looks, or do u want it to handle better.
i would do the vtec head and then coilovers, but it also depends on how bad the paint is on the car...

haha well of course we all do haha... but i mean you will have to camps here man the function before form one and the other way around.
i vote vtec head, then suspension then paint, theres my two cents

My opinion! I don't jump on the band wagon like everyone else.....
Don't waste your time with a vtec head! Instead, take advantage of the fact you have a B20 engine, and find yourself a P8R head used from Japan. It is a special cast made only for a couple years on jdm spec B20's. Now, the cool thing is the it flow the same as any vtec head, and also has the same 33mm valves.
Install is a snap, no mods, direct bolt on!! They are not too hard to find if you look around. I bought my last one for $150....can't be beat for what you get!
