Default 24.5" x 15" Slicks for 400whp/400wtq: MT or M&H

Just looking for some advice on what slick to upgrade to. I'm currently blowing the tires off a MT 22x8x15 w/ ~320whp/tq.

Setup will be going to 400-420whp/tq over the winter. A 24.5" slick will work well with my gearing. These are the two tires I'm considering.

1) M&H 24.5x8.5x15 $165
or
2) MT 24.5x8x15 $185

Wheel is a Rota Slipstream 15x7. Which tire would you run and why? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

both have seemed to be really good. with 400hp you'll hook up just fine.

Thanks for the help guys. Anybody else?

It seems like both will work well so I'm leaning toward the MT's just because they are a little narrower and might pose less of a clearance issue.

i have used both many times, the MT will fit a little better on that rim and also the MT seem to stay softer a little longer. shame you wasnt on 13s or i would say the new or at least reissued hoosier 24.5 , they stay softer longer then the others.

Thanks. Would I have to run tubes w/ either of the 24.5's? What's the downside to not running them? I wouldn't mind saving the $60 each and whatever they weigh.

they stay inflated better if u use tubes. very few use them its your choice of safety i guess

Realistically, how much diference does running a 13'' wheel over a 15'' wheel make on a 24.5'' tyre?
