It's official. Honda will no longer be making any manual Elements. So if you have your heart set on one, start shopping for a leftover '09.

Honda seems to be getting away from manual transmission in their compact SUV's. The CRV is not solely automatic as well.

I think for a fun vehicle I would not be happy with an automatic, but for my Element for daily and Daddy duties, I'm growing on the auto.

The K-series automatics seem to be no where near as slushy as other Honda four-cylinder automatics.
