Base 5 Speed RSX low miles....

During normal driving, when you shift from 1st to 2nd OR 2nd to 3rd there is a slight "lag." It only happens every now and then but it is deff noticable. It sort of feels like there is a miss-fire feeling but then picks right up. There is no grind or anything, it just feels like something is lagging bad. Anybody have this same problem or know what i'm talking about? Thanks for the help -

 

My ep3 does this too. I think it's probably normal but annoys the crap out of me sometimes

is your air conditioning on while the problem occurs?

 

i had the same problem even with the a/c off and it still did it every now and then, I took it to the dealer and they said it could be from slamming it into gear witch i thought was stupid cuz it only happens during normal driving. Might be a defect in the clutch??

 

No mods besides an exhaust tip.... And it happens whether the AC is on or off...

I Don't know what the problem is, because it only happens in 2nd to 3rd gear and only happens every now and then. I thought it might have to do with DBW?? When I took it to the dealer, they said they couldn't replicate my problem. OBVIOUSLY because it is intermittent but hey I'll just deal with it!

 

You don't have DBW, so it's not that.
