Default 5 spd swap and axles

I was on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ and I noticed that the part number of left MT axle had the same P/N as the one right one had.
I've seen about 20 write-ups for 5spd conversion but no one mentioned that they were the "same."
Are they the same? because if they are, that means the double the chance I could get the axle from pull-a-part or junkyard hehe

Yes, they are the same length. I believe they are the same, but you do need the intermediate shaft, as that will eliminate torque steer, which the automatic has plenty of. So if you have the auto axles, you can keep the right one.
