hi all building a b16 turbo allready have skunk2 stage 2 turbo cams eagle rods
full arp stud kit. will be getting skunk2 double springs+retainers
any help on what turbo+manifold+injectors+ecu+pistons ad compression ratio.
to go for. any help would be great

and if you no the best place to get any off these i live in uk

what are your goals? if you only want 400hp there's no real need for cams/head work... you can make that on a stock b16 head.

There are a bunch of manifold vendors all of which do great work... I'm ordering a setup from Spoolin Performance this week, there's Peakboost, Fullrace, a ton of others.... search around here for a while and get an idea for which one you'd like to go with... or you can try to pick up someone's used setup... that will save you a ton of money but might result in some headaches...

If it comes with the turbo/manifold and downpipe you're probobly ok... but getting a manfiold and turbo and downpipe all seperately can end up with some serious fitment issues.

was looking for 380bhp not sure what size injectors i need
and what size turbo i need and the best compession ratio to go for!!!
was hoping to run 14-18 psi
was thinking about t3/t4 turbo?

for 380 there's no reason to do any headwork... you can spend all your money on rods/pistons and be done... then just get a decent turbo kit and a good fueling setup (injectors fuel pump and management).

you MIGHT be able to make that with 450's but more than likely you'll need 525-680's... it seems the universal advise here is to go bigger though... you're probobly not going to stop once you start boosting and making good power... people seem to just upping the boost... so you MIGHT want to get 880's or even 1000cc injectors now... they'll run the car fine under capacity and will leave you with plenty of room to grow.

The turbo is similar but if you're SURE you're not going to want a whole LOT more power then you should probobly go on the smaller side so that you have the power for a more usable rpm range and the spool up won't be too slow...

A lot of people here are waiting till 5k+ to spool the turbo's on their car... granted once they do they're making crazy power... but I'd prefer a quicker spool with a more limited top end...

There's a TON of information on here... if you want to do it once the right way I suggest you stop buying parts now and start reading for the next 6months or so... trust me I have literally 2 full turbo setups sitting on my floor... changed goals along the way and ended up with double of almost everything.

 

You do not need to build for 400whp really. I would do a pump gas tune and shoot for 300-350whp. On race gas map shoot for 380-400whp. Get a dual stage boost controller and have the option to have a switch for pump and race gas. You will be good to go.

Pick up some 550cc.

Get the manifold from Spoolin Performance as well. Great work over there.
