bseries motor problem

Default bseries motor problem

ok i just got a motor and the set up is a gsr head obd1 on a b16a jdm bottom block and i bought it how it is and so i went to go swap it in and afta the swap i started it and it ran for like 5 sec i had to turn it off cause there was oil shotting out of everywhere from my head gasket and i was wondering if anyone knows wats the problem is it the torqe down maybe cause i bought it as is and dont really know if the guy before me torqed it down rights...and can it cause damage like that....please let me know asap.....

WOW! if the head is not torqed that means nothing else is. cams timing belt etc, probably cause some damage.

The head gasket is on upside down or has an LS head gasket on it.

ums no like the cams and timing belt are on good but iono if the head is torqed down too specs or good enough u know

the wrong headgasket like slowturbocx posted can also be the problem.

yea taking of the head today and changing it to the gsr one and torqing everything down to specs and well we'll all see after then i guess.....
