im working on a 03 rsx base model and her window continuosly goes up really slow and either starts moving towards the back of the car while going up, or jus keeps on goin straight up over the door. it goes down fine, i took of the door panel and nothing really sticking out to me everything lines up fine at first then just screws up once your put the window up. any suggestions. thanks

 

must be the mad veetack kicking in....


pull the door apart and inspect the rubber track all the way around, pull it out and look for cracks. If its splits anywhere you have problems with window tracking.

 

push the button for the window all the way down. remove door panel assy. then look in there and see if the window is binding or anything. loosen the screws and adjust the window on the track. sounds to me like the window is binding in the front. also the window motor might be out of sync... meaning that whenever the motor was attached to the track it was all the way down and the window was like half up so it thinks that it is already up whenever its not really. hope you can understand this lol ill try to think of a better way of wording it

 

i think i had the same problem. if it keeps going past the door the rear rubber holding the window to the door is cracked. i tried putting some apoxy in it but after a few days it still didnt work. you proly will have to buy an entire window like me. the window comes pre sealed to the track. i bought a new one a havent had a problem since

 

Either the seal or the regulator

 

I hate that **** both my windows on my dc5 do it! All I do is push it back half way up and it goes right in, some times it won't do it again for while after that.
