I am swapping an ek tomorrow and the motor that was in it before had 1000cc injectors with a resistor box. I was wondering if i could leave the resistor box in and be fine with stock injectors on a stock ls? Thanks

 

the resistor box is used with low impendance injectors. in other words, if you checked them on an ohmmeter, they should read 2.5-3.5 ohms of resistamce i believe. high impedance injectors will show a reading of 12.-12.5 or so and they do not require a resistor box. im almost certain all honda obd1 injectors are low impedance.

 

The motor came out of a 95 ls and im fairly certain there was no resistor box in that car which is why im asking.

 

A 95 Ls uses high impedance injectors, no need for a resistor box.

 

So how do i unwire this resistor box?

 

I'm not sure how you have your box wired in. Here is a wire diagram I made a few months back for wiring up high & low impedance injectors.
