Default Chipped ecu questions

I have two quick questions regarding my chipped P28 and OBD2b-OBD1 conversion
-Does the Primary O2 sensor still do anything if the O2 sensor is disabled? (Do I even need the primary O2 sensor at all?)
-Does resetting the ECU do anything? Like normally the ECU will make adjustments in air/fuel as needed, but does a chipped ecu also do this?

Yes. Disable O2 is poorly labeled. It simply disables the O2 Heater output and resulting code. Until you disable closed loop as well, it will attempt to adjust based on voltage seen at the O2 input pin.

Yes.
