Stripped rear lug nut....lug AND stud spinning!! What do i do? HELP!
I was about to change out my tires, when i started having trouble with the last lug nut. I could tell it was starting to strip bc it got harder and harder loosen. WD40 couldnt even help. So i was like fug it, i needed to change it anyways, so i was just gonna keep turning to break off the stud, and just replace it. (i have new studs in my room) Instead of breaking, the whole stud started spinning, with the lug still stuck on it. So what do i do?? How can i go about this with out damaging the wheel? I tried holding the rim and tried pounding the stud back into place (i was thinking maybe it got loose), bu that didnt help......
remove the caliper from the trailing arm.
then unbolt the spindle nut and remove the wheel and hub together
have the stud spot welded and then remove

am i missing something here, the caliper is bolted onto the rotor.....and which one is the spindle nut? PLEASE HELP!! i need to do this today after work!!
2 12mm bolts hold the caliper on from the rear.
remove those along with 1 12mm on the brake cable and you SHOULD have just
enough room to pull the caliper off the bracket. then 2 14mm bolts are holding the
bracket on from the rear as well. pop the centercap off the wheel, and heres the
hard part, pop the cap off of the hub thats in the center of the wheel, and then
you will see a 32mm nut. remove that nut and the whole thing will slide right off.
GOOD LUCK!!

your rite sgT! i cant pop off that center cap on the hub!! theres barely enuff room to work. all the room i have is wat comes with still having one lug nut still stuck on the lug. How do i take off that gold cap???
this may sound stupid, but you ever try pulling off the wheel while turning the lug nut off, it's worked with some stuff, not sure if it would work in your case but it's worth a try.
if you don't understand what i mean, pulling the wheel off will pull the lug nut off and hopefully grab some good thread and either a- come off or b- break the stud
