Default supercharged GSR is breaking up in mid range

Ok fellas, me and a buddy left columbia and drove to raliegh to pick up his new car last week. As we arrived in raliegh i noticed the car was running really really rough, upon inspection i noticed that the lead running from the SS coil to the distributor was broken off. We made the leads touch and limped the car home, where it has been sitting all week until today until i got my new dizzy cap in.

i put the cap on, hooked everything back up (correctly i know 100%)

the car starts and idles fine, the air/fuel looks good, doesnt make any funny noises.

but when i start to drive it, it has NO power and the car starts to shake really bad over like 2500rpm. Previously i had chalked this up to the shitty igniton connection, but now that ive fixed it im hoping it isnt something more serious. It feels almost like a misfire, but doesnt sound like detonation.

any ideas?

*ninja edit* i guess you guys might need the setup.

JSRC'd C1
hondata s200
rc 440's
MSD 6AL box
SS coil
pro cap

ill try to take a video of me driving the car and see if it helps.

the car is my DD, so i need this fixed. STAT!

idle air control?

wouldnt that mean the car would surge at idle?

Get new plugs, some thing like NGKBKR7E11 and gap to .030, wouldn't hurt to get new plug wires. Did you change the rotor when you put the new dizzy cap on?

i ordered another pro cap in a kit. i was under the impression that a new rotor would come in the kit, but it did not.

i inspected the rotor and the leading edge seems to be burned a little.
