Default HELP!!!!!!!!!!! LS/VTEC questions, need help ASAP!!!

ok so im working with a b18a1 bottom end and b16a2 head in my integra, and ive been getting diff opinions from every 1 about this,..... so i bought the car with an lsvtec conv already, and i noticed oil seeping out of the head gasket between the timeing belt and header, and im positive its not coming from the valve cover-cam seal etc....the car currently has an LS head gasket in it because the guy i purchased the car from said,it had a vtec headgasket in it but he changed to an LS for some forgotten reason, btw its a GE kit.and another 1 of my boys was telling me from experience to use hondabond ht to put around the oil passages between the head and block but anyway,my questions are:

1.) which headgasket should i go with,b-series vtec or LS"?
2.) should i use hondabond around the oil ports?

and please hit me up with some tips!!!! thanks, btw im getting started early about 8am and need this info quick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VTEC, I have Golden Eagle install on mine. As for Hondabond can't remember but I can find out from my mechanic in like 5hrs from now.

My freind B20/Vtec leak a little oil from the head gasket on his and he burn oil.
