some one wanted to trade me a cf hood for my oem hood, but he said that he painted another color over it and i wanted to know if the paint that was painted over the cf hood can come off. thanks.
p.s. long story short can i get the cf color/pattern back and how?

 

You will most likely have to sand down the paint until the weaves of the carbon can be seen again. Once all of the color is gone and it looks like a carbon fiber hood again, you are going to have to get the hood re-cleared. Use a 400 grit sand paper to do the job. Its gonna be time consuming and a pita, but with some time and prep work, it can be done. Good luck!
