It's in a 1996 hatch. What turbo should I get?

 

im not to sure about the best turbo size but iv heard of b20s being beasts if there done right

 

Short answer yes. You can turbo anything. Don't know what kind of Turbo you want but it all depends on the tune I guess.

 

Do you have the vtec head, because you might wanna think about getting that before you turbo.

 

check that you have a vtec head and being that its a b20 are you considering any internals?

 

ANother thing you might want to consider is putting arp head studs AND MAIN STUDS!! It really helps hold the bottom end together. Even for the turbo. I have a sc61 turbo for my b20/v havnt installed it yet, someone before me had it on his ls/v and said it pulled like a son of a b****

 

boosting it about 10 pound on stock parts would be safe

 

What's the build of the engine? It all depends on your build & goals. Is it a straight B20 or a B20/Vtec?

As stated before in this thread, you can turbo anything. Be sure your motor is healthy though if you're leaving it 'stock'. Start w/ a leakdown test or compression check before you even do anything & check how the numbers look.
