help!! tried everything

Default help!! tried everything

have a 88 crx hf model having some problems that i can not figure out and now im looking for some help okay here we go ... the car will start sometimes and sometimes it wont when it does start it will drive fine till it gets warm it will hesitate or sputter sometimes when we are driving and just die out of no where but only when it reaches warm temp the problems will happen.... the ecu dose through some codes it will show codes : 4, 8, 15 .... they are all distributor codes ... top dead center, cam shaft angle sensor ,and ignition out put sensor ... the distributor was replaced and switched out to make sure we didn't get a bad one and even tried one off a different crx that was running perfect still same problems.. also got new plugs, wires, fuel filter, main fuel relay, ignition switch, starter harness..... any ideas thanks for reading

maybe a faulty wire coming from the dizzy? check sensors and wires

Either that or a ECU going bad...

Or it is just the cam angle sensor. It could throw the whole thing off.

2006 and first post and it was way off? Dang not a good way to start... he already changed out the distributors for a known good one. Since the camshaft sensor is in the distributor then that would eliminate the codes staying... unless...

OP did you reset the ECU after you changed out the distributors?

lol...if u aint planning to change that motor u should just trash the car ...u know sometimes the car just starts to break down more and more ....unless u got money to do the whole **** over...but on the reals never herd of something like that....try to blast that heat all the way and make a fan switch to keep it cold....u sure u got coolent..lol.....distr just been switch thats not ur prob...good luck....
