anyone using a D series VSS in their Y1?
does a b series VSS sit higher off of the tranny? thi cable is REALLY SHORT! hardly makes it to the VSSand is a pain to clip up

 

i saw a post a few days ago of someone who was try using search maybe you'll find it.

 

it should clip up nicely..

 

aight i searche found nothin.does a B series have to be used?

 

aight i got it, that clip that holds thed cable in was very loose, sucks when its ur first swap u leanr something new every 3-5 minutes lol

 

Funny because my D series VSS did not work in my jdm Y1...I had to look for a cable VSS for a B series tranny.

 

It'll work they're all basically the same. I'm using a 94 D series VSS in my J1 tranny. They all use the same style of clip. It's just the JDM VSS that I had was different shape, but the pin outlet was the same on the connector.
