hello people i have a big problem that is really bothering me i have a 1990 accord dx i have a really bad vibration going on i mean really bad any ideas on what it could be

 

don't let your girl use the vibrator in the car?

 

all jokes aside i was serious an im not the joking type so if you cant answer the question i sug you stay out of my post

 

ok, we need info dude.

all we know is 1990 accord dx vibration. that is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack dude. when is it vibrating, how strong is it vibrating, is it a certain speed?

any modification or any maintenance done to a certain area done recently.

need MOAR!!!

 

vibration . . . when? idling? going down the rodd? if so, how fast? the more details the better.

 

it does it all the time now i eliminated the mounts the tranny the back of the engine was a pain in the a** but i got it done and the other one on the other side of the motor and the front one. i have a after market exhaust headers and down pipe. it just started doing it but as the days go buy it gets worse.

 

oh as soon as i give it a little gas it goes to being smooth again

 

with some carb cleaner: clean the idle control motor, TB where the butterfly seats, and the idle screw.
take the screw out, clean it and the hole, then put it all the way back in til it stops, then back it out 2 turns.

 

ill try that first thing in the morning thanks for your help i appreciate it anybody else got any ideas
