Changing MTF on ex/si tranny
Hey, so I think I'm due to have my MTF changed but I'm on a bit of a budget. What I'm wondering is if honda mtf is a better choice than synchromesh for the money because I've heard people say synchromesh is amazing and then others saying that its causing problems for their transmission after extended use.
I've noticed that I get a slight grind shifting into 3rd quickly at high rpm's (5500 rpm+) so I think my synchro is gonna need to replaced soon.
One last thing would be, when I turn on the ignition, do I need to wait for the fuel pump to prime for the 2-3 seconds every time or does it not matter?
