Default can you polish a stock shifter?

i was thinking of doing this because the black stock shifter just doesn't look too appealing...

or painting but that would look rice =\

i dont see why not...wire brush it, then sand it with 1000, then 2000, then use some 3m diamond cut on it with a buffer.

I also don't see why not. I believe the type r shifter is polished and the same shifter as the other models. So an alternative is to buy a type r version.

you deff. can i have doen it to a few shifters and comes out pretty nice, i have also done a few with just the sand paper to give it that like brushed aluminum look
