Default Q: 40 & 45 mm iacv bolts issue ?

95 Accord, vtec:

I recently cleaned and put the iacv back on. The two iacv bolts that attach the iacv to the intake looked identical to me and I wasnt aware that there is a 5 mm length difference between them [40 mm & 45 mm according to the specs]. I didnt recall Helms mentioning that issue. At any rate, how critical is that they longer one [bottom bolt] not go in the top threads? ... the threaded holes bottom out and I wonder if I was bottoming out when installing the bolt. What I cannot tell you for sure is if I did or didnt reverse the bolts, perhaps I got lucky and got them in their correct place. I torqued them to 16 ft lbs, and everything is secure and seems ok, and I hate to have to take it off [possibly having to run out for a oring gasket, or worry about reusing it and then getting an air leak], but I wonder if there is a problem with leaving them in place if they are in the wrong place? Is the reason for the longer bolt not going to the top because of the bottoming out issue, or is it that the reason for the longer bolt going to the bottom, because of the bracket also being attached, hence more length is needed. Just trying to be careful
