whats the best solvent or tb cleaner u guys have came across? i got like gooey **** in my mani and tb and i dnt wanna use carb cleaner or an abrasive chem that will hurt me in the future.

 

I would think some seafoam in through the brake booster hose would do the trick

 

Are you removing the IM and TB to clean? Brake or Carb cleaner won't hurt em.

 

second that on the brake parts cleaner.
use a napkin too and wipe down where the throttle plate is.
no sure about cleaning inside the plenums though

 

i am taking tb off yes i mani no. i understand how to clean this stuff i just was asking if ppl use a specific cleaner to do it. like as in brands of tb cleaner and stuff but i guess brake cleaner is fine for the tb but a ? how do u get the seafoam into the b booster line. dump it in or u have to use a special hose to go from can of cleaner into the booster
