Hi everyone,i want to know if is it possible to disable vtec in a P28 ecu,if yes, could you please guys explain me how it can be done?Thank you.
If you or a friend have another vtec ecu (besides a p72) laying around that’s socketed then I would give it try and see if it’ll hit vtec, but then hitting WOT in vtec without a wideband will be a hit and miss not knowing the A/F ratio is lean/rich.
ignore this lol I don’t know how it got posted here when I was posting on another post. Damn iPhone!!!!

I am wondering if Jumper 10 has any impact on the vtec circuitry.
Would snipping J10 disable the vtec circuitry?
The non vtec P06 ECU doesn't have anything in J10 and to add the vtec components you have to add a jumper wire to J10 as well as the other components.
I asked about this idea in my thread but no one has responded.
It could be no one knows for sure.
