Icon2 Viper car alarm on a...CBR??

Hey guys, like the topic states.. I have a Viper 5900 2-way alarm still brand new in the box and I was wondering if I can install it on my CBR?

Obviously, I wont be hooking up any sensors or anything to doors and trunks.. Just wondering if I can hook this alarm up with the shock/proximity sensors and maybe a backup battery.

I've been lurking around different motorcycle forums but the traffic here is much more upbeat. Any input would be great! Thanks in advance.

I have done remote starts on the cbr 600rr and 1000 rr, and r1. Its no more diffcult then a regular install. You just have to hid everything very well.

yeah it can be done...no real issue there. A better solution might be look into the MERLIN
models from DEI. They are better engineered for the issues one may encounter on a bike.

MERLIN?..never heard of that branch of DEI but I will definitely research about them.

The reason why I'm thinking about using my viper 5900 is because: 1) I really need an alarm on my motorcycle (it was going to be my next mod...) and 2) I get a pretty good accommodation through DEI right now so I will be purchasing either the new viper 5901 or 5902 to replace the 5900 for my car
