Ok boys heres my situation

i have a 91 gs 5 speed...i was going to do a full gsr build ( p 72 ) to be right....well i have the the gsr bottom block cleaned and ready but now i dont think im getting my head so now my question is this....

my boy has a ls Non Vtec head p&p and after marked cams....

Q. can i put this head on my gsr block or use another head....and what else would i need as far as intake and throthel body and ECU....my car is OBD0

Q. now if i want to do a full GSR Vtec Swap what would i need as far as parts. axsels , ECU, ect.ect. i know i can use the stock tranny that came with the car and im not sure but i saw that i can use a jumper to use the p72 ecu pls any help would be nice me

Q1: Yes you can put it on, you would need a LS.Vtec kit (golden eagle) makes it. You could use your stock parts, and you would use a ls ecu... chip it if you are going to use a head with work done to it...

Q2: You would need some gsr axles (pending year differences), p72 ecu (or = such as ctr,si,itr -single stage intake ecu though)

Advice: Don't do LS.V... They cost just as much to build as a gsr swap basically, and you get a crap power band.

What i would suggest doing is... GSR Swap, with LS crank (eliminate oil squirters), CRV crank pulley, ITR/CTR99-00 cams, and a edlebrock (performer x) intake manifold, ctr/itr ecu, and that's all i can think of...

I don't really mess with Honda/Acura anymore since i went VW... but i still knew/know my stuff :D

also... have a 520whp civic hatch as a toy <3 soon to be @ 700+ mark

Think he was thinking you were using a ls block with a gsr head which is commonly known as "ls.v", when in reality you are talking about the doing opposite, which makes his advice about Q.1 irrelevent.
