I just swapped a z6 with turbo into my car. it would overheat when it ran for awhile but go back down once i started drivin. I already replaced the water pump and thermostat.. still overheats then cools back down(intermitting) when i turn the car off the coolants boilin back into the the resivour? Any help id appreciate it. Thanks H-T

i have changed the water pump all the coolant has been flushed and then refilled. wat is that gonna do?

 

Is your rad fan coming on at operating temps at idle?

 

whats done to the motor as far as the headgasket/headbolts or studs?

id take a good gander and say your having headlift, which the sohc engines are known for once they see some sort of FI. had the same problem when i was spraying and it'll get worse as the more you drive it.
