Default '01 Rear Drum Adjustment

The Short of it:

2001 Accord LX 4 cyc 2 Door 78k

No previous problem (have had since 49K).

Can someone please explain the auto-adjusting rear brakes on a '01 Honda Accord? The repair shop says that because I never used the parking brake, that the rear brakes need to be professionally adjusted.

The Long of it:

Brakes got soft and started to squeal about a month ago (I know). I check the pads theyre fine. Brake light started coming on. Took to a chain for a brake diagnosis:

FRONT BRAKES APPROX 20 % WORN
REAR BRAKES APPROX 60 % WORN
FRONT DISC / DRUM MEASUREMENT- L-826 R-832
REAR DISC / DRUM MEASUREMENT-L-86530

Recommended Services:

FRONT DISC BRAKES $80
F DISC BRAKE ROTOR $180
REPLACED LEFT FRONT ROTOR $0
REPLACED RIGHT FRONT ROTOR $0

CLEAN AND TREAT REAR BRAKES MACHINE DRUMS $85
RESRUFACED LEFT REAR DRUM $0
RESURFACED RIGHT REAR DRUM $0

Alright. Real quick, by "FRONT DISC BRAKES" they mean the brake pads right?

Next, replacing rotors seems as easy as replacing pads, am I right?

Now the big question:

Should I pay to have them re-adjust my rear brakes or will they auto-adjust?

Thx, xlledx
