NEED HELP WITH WIRING ISSUES
hey everyone...im doing a h22a swap into my 89 crx dx...i know i need to convert it to obd1 and mpfi...but wouldn't be easier if i just swap out the underdash harness and engine harness to the 93 obd1 integra???the 93 integra is obd1 already...will the underdash harness fit my 89 crx dx???like plug-n-play???please anyone with any help or info...help me out...thanks alot.....
Why not just run 4 wires to convert your car to MPFI and then buy a obd0 - obd1 jumper harness for your ECU and Distributor and be done?
You CANNOT connect a 93 integra engine harness to your underdash of the CRX. You can if you want to pull the CRX underdash harness out and COMPLETELY replace it for the integra.
It is just easier to troubleshoot issues using the regular wire harness IMO.

If you don't know how to wire up MPFI, just take the car and motor to a shop and have it done for you. K thanks bye.

thanks for your input...so the 93 integra underdash harness will fit into the crx???im doing this because i have a extra da shell and dont want to spend any cash...so it will be harder to troubleshoot my crx if it has a da underdash harness in it????when u mean troubleshoot, do you mean, like the checking the engine light for codes????please lmk...
And by troubleshooting he means if you fukk up any of your wiring for the motor it'll be much easier to find out whats wrong with the correct harness rather than the Integra harness.
Just conver to MPFI like I told you and you'll be golden.
If you are going to half *** it, don't do it at all.
It would be MORE time consuming removing the entire engine, dash, tail light and fuel pump harness than it's worth. You will have to replace from headlight to tail light.
It's your car, if you want the headaches of doing it that way, then by all means. My suggestion is do what is documented and has proven successful countless times for hundreds, if not thousands, of DPFI to MPFI swaps.

It is your time, your money, and your car. Do what you want like we care how much time and money you waste. HMMMMMM a few wires for the swap or the ENTIRE wiring setup from one car then have to put it in another while still having to remove another entire wiring setup (Yeah two wiring removals because you should take out the one you are trying to replace). Yeah that is logical...
There are tons of write-ups and how-to’s on how to do this. I personally have tried it the way you want to do it and let me tell you, DON’T DO IT!!! OMFG what a waste of time it was. I have since done probably over 20 DPFI-MPFI swaps myself and all of them I used all of the stock harness for whatever car I was working on; then added the wires needed for the swap and/or VTEC. So much easier… but again, like I care what you do.

hopefully the op listened to the 5 people posting above me, But i will echo what everyone else is saying by saying: Don't Do it..
It is SOOO much easier to convert the dpfi to mpfi and then just buy a obd0-1 conversion harness than it is to attempt to swap the integra harness.
