Color code NH605
I asked the garage to paint my car dark gray and after painting it looks like black but the guy who painted it said it's magnum gray code NH605. I keep searching for NH605 code over the net but i cannot find it. Is there such a NH605 for Honda?
I need to print it for registration purposes or i have to pay penalty.

looks like black to me and it becomes dark violet under the sun...
thanks

as far as I know it was available on UKDM 1997-2001 Honda Civic 1.8 VTi (MB6 chassis code) 5door hatch and Accord Type-R from around that time.
That's the MB6 Civic 1.8 VTi (I have one in Pirates Black as well) Check out uk civic5.com forum for more of those if you wish. It has b18c4 (169hp, revs to 8400rpm - pretty much equivalent to Integra GSR b18c1 except it has a dual chamber intake which is supposed to have better midrange torque with the butterfly opening at 6000rpm) and S9B gearbox fitted with LSD. The gearing is quite conservative and often swapped for s80 cause it has a big gap between 1st and 2nd and the final drive is just 4.266. The vtec kicks in at 4500rpm but the real kick is when the IAB opens at 6k. In UK there was also a limited special edition called VTi-S (on the picture) that has more agressive front lip, rear lip and side skirts and different wheels. The VTi-S model was only available in pirate black. The normal VTi was available in many other colors. The engine has the lowest compression from b18 family of just 10:1 so it's great for boost, the cams are very good for boost as well and also the long gearbox fits the boost application well. VTi is europe's equivalent to USA GSR spec and Japans SiR spec. I have a second MB6 now (first one was crashed by stupid bitch) and I got both of them to 237 kmh on the speedo. The first one was 100% stock.
Uploaded some Pirate Black pics here, as you can see on some pics it is just black and on some pics you can see nicely the purple popping out in the sun....I love this color.

here is a page with some info about the MB6 model
http://cars.homenetcs.co.uk/honda-civic-mb6/chassis.htm
and on wikipedia

and sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but since the 5door hatch was not available in US or Japan I though some might want to know and the pirate black color deserves some more whoring ;o]
