Default My new EG build :) finally.

K, ive always wanted one
But never could get my hands on 1 for some reason..

ive owned EF's..CRX's..EM1's..EJs,..EK's.. never an EG hatch..
FINALLY! ..
1994 Honda Civic CX
i got a pretty decent building ground, cause the motor is solid
it already has a Swapped D16z6 in it, which is Mildly Built
(pulls strong.. and hard.. beat my friends 2000 Civic SI..already as all motor)
so thats a plus is the motor work is decent at this point...cause im not very mechanic smart..
but i do got a 2 year certification in Collision Repair.. and welding.. and body work

the car has some bad quarter panel rust.. ima cut out reweld new metal in..
the windows have been converted from Manual to Power which is really nice..
has a full SI interior.. except seats..
has some JDM headers.. with a FULL Apexi WS2 exhaust
Short shifter, stage 2 clutch..
Car is quick and nice i like it
and i can afford to work on it.. cause its only body work

my future plans
- fix the rust..
- Repaint (black)
- Rota Track R's..
- CF trunk/Fenders/New cf hood..
- and then look into Turboing it..
- If not turbo, i Wanna do a GSR swap into it..

why would you want to turbo an all motor engine? might as well swap and turbo.

Where did you get that idea? He said either turbo his D16 or GSR swap.

but ya, im going to pick up the sheet metal this Friday, ill let def post pics up of how this all turns out..

and Thumper im not by the quad cities... im up by the rockford Area

his "mildly built" d16 he says beats his buddies si, which has a b16. only way to get a "mildly build" d16 to do that is to bump up the compression, not good for boost. you can tell me a d16 with a cam header intake is going to beat a b16. i used common sense

My brother-in-law just bought an EG (94 CX) recently in similar condition and I love it. Just feels a lot more umm... connected than my EJ. Probably due to not having power steering.

Good luck. If I ever get tired of mine, I'd consider an EG.
