90 si loud clicking noise
Hello,
Last night I was driving home and right as I pulled into my parking space, I heard this loud clicking noise that seemed to get worse when engaging the clutch. I checked my engine oil which was at a good level, then today I took this video.

I was thinking maybe the throw out bearing.
I just got my engine and tranny oil changed at Honda last week.
Any ideas what the issue may be?

It's hard to tell where the noise is coming from, take a long pry bar or something and hold one end to your ear and the other to different parts of the engine and see where it is the loudest. If it's in the head it's probably a rocker arm, if it is the block then it's a rod bearing.
engaging the clutch? or do you mean engaging the clutch pedal? kinda confusing in the way you said, it seems like the noise was gone after you release the clutch the pedal, which is engaged the clutch, so i would say throw out bearing
Do you have any idea that might cost to get fixed?

well why would the sound change with the clutch in? I think it has somethin to do with the tranny. Plus it almost sounds like somethings bouncing around in there loose.
how many miles are on that motor? who swapped that motor into that car? that sounds like rod knock if the car was just started on a cold start, and the rpm's were high untill the car warmed up. but then again what ever it is, its in rotation with the crank thats for sure. id say im about 65 to 75% positive its rod knock

If it is rod knock or throw out bearing, is it possible to still drive it to a mechanic?
Thanks for your help BTW.
its pretty simple to replace the bearings. but id have some one come out and check it out 1st. got any friends you could call? if u were closer than a 2 hour drive i would swing by.
Okay so today I decided I was gonna drive my car to see how it is.
And sure enough the sound was only really noticeable with the clutch pedal was being pressed in to change gears. I then took it to a mechanic (family friend) who informed me it would be around $750 because he would order a clutch kit and replace it all along with the rear main seal while he was at it.
However since I have very little income at the moment due to being unemployed, I had to decline. Funny thing is, when I got to the mechanic's place and tried to show him the problem, the noise was pretty much gone. Made no loud noises when pushing the clutch pedal. So I decided that I would drive it until I can find a new D series cable tranny to replace it with.

So it ended up being a loose bolt that had fallen off my pressure plate and was just rolling around in the housing lol.
Thanks for all your help!
