Default Hello, new 03 type-s owner here

So I have been a regular to the eg civic forum for awhile now. I had a 95 civic ex with a d16z6 for 9 years and just passed 250k miles when the clutch decides to go out.

Decided to upgrade and traded in for a silver exterior, black leather interior 03 type s. Got a great deal, bone stock and looks brand new on the inside and outside for 7700. Minus the 600 they gave me for my civic i only paid 7100.

So i know i have a k20 but i hear people talking about ep3 this and a2 and a3 that. What do I have in my car?

cams, different tranny ratios and things are wired a little different ( speedo) so nothing major, the out side of the car was touched up a little and at some point heated mirrors were added, as well as stock 17s and they tend to handle a little better in stock form.
as far as the k20a2 its the base for most k projects. your car is lacking like 5 whp from an 05 model. and u could honestly run those cams if u wanted but i see that as a waste of money. intake, raceheader, and exhaust and were gona be running pretty much the same. i cant say there is any benifit to swap a head.

I think some Canadian models have heated seats as well? Is this true?

yes heated mirrors on all 04 and up i believe, they had them in canada from 02 and up, and in canada they did have heated seats, in the type s and premium packages.

05-06 could have heated seats/mirrors. 02-04 were jipped, they have neither!(except in canada)

In for pics of girlfriend.

Just to help you out, you can check the FAQ's so you can know and not ask about the basic details of your vehicle.
