It really depends on how complete the shell is...5-lug or not, interior, wrecked, title condition, etc. Anywhere from Free dollars to $4k-$7k if all it needs is an engine.

I just paid 5K for an S2K that only needs an engine... 5K just a shell for and ITR seems high. Wouldn't like 2500 be a good price?

I think you got a great deal! If I could find an S2k shell needing only an engine with a clean title (assuming it is) for 5k, I'd get it in a heartbeat. $2500 is a good price, but again only depending on what it needs. I've seen a shell (absolutely no panels, interior, engine compartment pieces, just bare, that couldn't be given away for free up in the Seattle area awhile back from the marketplace on here. I've also seen them going for upwards of $4000 in rather iffy condition (theft recoveries) that have been posted in this forum. It just depends on a number of factors.

i payed 150 for a 94 gsr shell with a salvage title. it seams to me you pay the money for the type r shell because there was only so many made. so overall if you get the r together in a tasteful manor its still worth up twards 10 gs where as my gsr shell will never be a real type r, regardless of how i put it together.
