What's up h-t. I just bought a 95 civic ex and evry time I would start to move it the car would make like a knock or something from the axle I believe but just yesterday coming from work I gunned 3 until 5 and about 2 miles down the car started to make a clunking noise as if the axle popped off and started hitting something and it gets louder when I engage the clutch I looked under and noticed the ac bracket mount is taxed... but I also noticed grease over the boots any ideas? Its coming 4rm the driver side. Thnx

 

Sounds like your axle boot is leaking... take it off, make sure its not torn, and put more grease in it (if it doesnt have much thats ur problem)

 

Ok so here`s the update I jacked up the car noticed that the pinion is worn but stil ok. The axle is not torn completely but it does have a tear so I'm gonna replace that. But what I noticed is that the previous owner had some ebay coilover and the car was slammed and felt like doodoo so I raised the car and when I was finally going to do the driver side tire I noticed all 4 lug nuts were loose and the disc brake was also loose andhad play so I tightend every thing up and took it around and now the noise is gone...thnk god but I still have that wheel bearing noise so thnx for the input and I can see I have along way to go with this project.
