Default Too much excitement + lack of skill =

The week before...

4 days after driving the car for the 1st time...

Ran into a wall.

In any event, would you buy this wreck for $1100. USD?

$1000 USD? LOL. That thing is beyond repair. That won't... "buff out" and some bondo isn't going to help. GL.

I personally think that car is worth next to nothing. From the seriousness of the impact, the motor and trans are at least damaged and possibly completely destroyed. The interior looked "ok" before the hit and might also be damaged. Ditto for the front suspension. You're left with rear suspension, brakes, and the wing. Even if you had to pay $1000 for those things, you wouldn't have this worthless pile of crap left over.

I definitely agree. This car is SO damaged. Everywhere you look there is significant damage. Pics like this always make me a mixture of sad and angry.

Nah, that's not my car, mine is the one behind it.

The worse part is, it wasn't the owner that did it. The person that did it 'took it for a test run'.
He was hospitalized for a few weeks.

The owner is selling for $1100.

I really isn't worth anything, as everything inside the car was distorted.

I am willing to purchase the passenger side rear wheel with the center cap and no tire if you can get it. I need an extra rim for a spare as long as it's not cracked, dented or bent in any way. All the other rims especially the front ones look pretty messed up.

Let me know if you can get it and how much it would be.

there may be some good parts left like the rear hatch + glass, rear quarter glass, exhaust, tail lights, calipers, maybe rear seats and rear plastic. i doubt any of the wheels are untouched.

I am still unclear how he hit a wall, and I haven't spoken to him since before the accident. I'll get that information this week.

Also, I haven't seen inside the engine bay as yet, but what kind of damage could the long-block sustain in an impact like that?
