Is it hard to install an LSD and a Final drive? i'm planning on changing the final drive to a Type-R 4.7 and putting on a OEM SI LSD; just wondering if it's hard thanks

 

I had both installed for me... Id say take it to someone that knows whats up. Cause trannys look hard to work on... *nervous*

 

Oh alright how much you pay? and did you feel a difference when you raced it of a dig?

 

agreed if you've never been walked through the tranny process I wouldn't recommend just trying it yourself.

 

oh ha i know im not planning on messing with it because people are charging me a lot for labor and i was curious why its so expensive. Is it really that hard to work on these transmissions? I think you had a 4.7 final drive Type-S paz before it got messed up. How was the difference on it from 1/4 with the LSD? did you feel a good difference?
