I have a fully built b16a sir II. I am going to run a 175 direct port nitrous setup.

I cannot find any cams that are really recomended for Nitrous. Everybody runs turbo's anymore. So thats all everyone makes.

Well then what about ITR's or CTR's. I might just leave em stock and tweak with cam gears if no one can help me out. Thanks

 

CTR's should make you good power. I have done skunk2 tuner& pro 1's with great success on a decent shot of spray 150+ on ls/vtaks and gsr's. Can you share more info of the setup? compression, displacement, fuel oct, ect..

 

84mm Darton MID Sleeves. Flat top arias 10.6-1 pistons, eagle rods. Head milled .020. 1mm oversized exhaust valves. all flat faced valves. Open header via electric cutout. Running a proggressive controler with retard box.

I would guess compression to be around 11.5 or so. Displacement around 1.7. I run 105 octane.

 

You can obtain custom nitrous cams from us. Nitrous creates a significant amount of exhaust gases, and by the proper profile on the exhaust cam lobes, you can improve efficiency (power) over a standard n/a camshaft. We fondly dub it the Bisimoto level 2.3.

I decided to just advance the exhaust cam. That seems to be the trick with nitrous that picks up big gains. With the flat top pistons and milled head I cant use a cam with a lot of lift anyways.
