Default Starter gone?

just got back from the track and backed my car up the drive way. it hesitated for a second then cut off and will not start. I've never had a starter go out, so i'm not too sure.

sounds like its cranking good enough, and making contact with the flywheel... you checked for spark/fuel?

WTF??? time for a new timing belt. i hope nothing is broken

edit: was just going to say, a starter going out would be very slow cranking, occasionally you'd hear a clunk instead of the car cranking over

probably just wore out and what caused them to brake out was the torque of the car trying to start
