ive had a prob like that with my old integra. It ended up being the timing was off, or it could be ur cylinders aren't firing right. Also hook up a jumper to see if it could be the battery not being charge enough to turn the motor over fast enough to spark it. Just sum little ideas let me know if that helped.

It controls idle according to water temp. Do something for me. warm your car up and take you intake off. Put you finger on the lower 1/2" hole just before you throttle plate. If you feel suction, you need a good cleaning. There should be no suction there. It idles the car up untill it is warm. There is another hole just above it. That is the IACV, it also controls idle. You should feel suction there when warmed up. Pluggin that hole with your finger should shut the engine down
i bought a new battery my old one died out
still wont idle right even if im gasin it all the way imma try cleaning it today if i can get it
started and going
ill let you guys know whats up
its kinda back firing alot too when i took off the intake.
i tried to warm it up and **** but the backfire woke up my neighbors.
but it would back fire ever 1-3 seconds when i would try to rev. a lil bit to like 2k
idk guys this single head is pissin me off never had a problem with my b18b

if it is backfiring its probably out of time. Check and make sure you have mechanical timing set correctly. It may be a tooth off and the dizzy could be way to advanced as well
also, when you drive, does it lag in power?(fall on its face)
to me it sounds like a timing issue.
but cld also be a ecu issue(from having no power to the ecu)did you try resetting the ecu? take both terminals off the battery post, touch them together AFTER YOU DISCONNECT THEM. it should drain the 4v of electricity that is sometimes stored. reconnect them and see if it fixes the issue. get back to us, so that we can help you get back in running shape
it hella lags in power..
i was flooring it on the freeway and it stayed at 80
and in 4th gearit wouldnt pass 5k rpm
=[ it s making a wierd noise like its gonna die
like blub blub blub blub blub =[[
could it be my ecu?
and how do you reset pics plz =[

In the mean time you could try and fix it...
For sure i would check timing on both distributor and valves first.
then i would check if your getting spark on all your spark plugs.
then i would switch out the Idle air control valve (iacv) off a working car.
that should fix that problem.
but i definately think your timing is off.
