So I was driving and out of no were my dash light went out... I got to my friends house and I noticed my runing lights were out... First thing that came to my mind was a fuse.... I looked it up and it was my number 10 fuse for my dash lights and driving lights... and every time I put a new one in and i go to turn on my runing lights it blows!!! WTF could it be! Oh by the way I have a 1991 EF
I know what it is.. I think you have a short in the "combo switch" on the left side of the steering column. The combo switch is the "stalk" that runs the headlights and turn signals. They are known to fail in the EF, and I am currently driving a car that needs to have that problem fixed as well, but mine is a little less severe.
