91 ef hatch dohc zc swap, need help!!
ok, my 91 civic hatch dx has a swapped dohc zc motor in it. I can drive it but only if i accelerate while driving. If i try and keep the pedal in a fixed position to keep a constant speed the car starts to bog on me, my only solution to this is to press the clutch, let it roll, as its slowing down accelerate and repeat the process and its getting tiring and is burning up my clutch faster. My ecu is throwing code 9 (piston 1) code 10 (IAT) and code 14 (EACV). Even when in neutral if I keep the pedal at a fixed position the motor starts to sputter unless i rev it up or let off the pedal and let it idle. The car idles fine when I start it up its just I cant drive it at a constant speed, can anyone help me or have any suggestions??
codes 10 and 14 at the same time usually means that the connectors are switched - the IAT sensor is 2-wire connector with red/yellow and green/white wires - the EACV is also a 2-wire connector with blue/yellow anf black/yellow wires (if the car was originally DPFI, the EACV connector is green in color)
code 9 for cylinder sensor means that you have the 2 wires switched or that the camshaft timing is not correct (exhaust cam off one tooth or more)
