So I'm wiring an ap2 cluster into a corolla, I've done this many times when doing the s2k swap, and I'm having some trouble this time. For some reason I can't get any of the indicator lights on the lower area to work, ie; gas light, ebrake, trunk etc. I have two clusters I'm trying and one is working fine and the other is having this problem. So obviously this one cluster is damaged right?.... it was bought from a wrecking yard off ebay so unfortunately I don't know the exact year (both cluster have the same part number). Does the year of ap2 cluster make a difference when wiring? My diagrams say 04-05, so maybe the 06+ is different? Any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

 

Nvm, I found a short in the ebay cluster, works fine now, lol.

no, but the s2k underdash harness is very easy to wire into pretty much any car because it is complete from ecu to cluster, you only have to wire the turn signals, ebrake, door, high beam, illumination etc. into the new cars harness, then about 5 power wires and 4 grounds. thats about it.
