i heard that the new VIS hoods are pretty good quality.. im thinking about getting the oem style for my hatch.. but im not sure how much they run for.. and i was wondering if they had any distributors in san diego..

 

VIS CF hoods are good quality, my friend just got it on his Type-R and it looks sick and fits perfectly

 

I second that.. The pricing is anywhere from $350-550.

 

if you're not willing to go to VIS, then pann sells em... but i'd go with somone that knows those guys over there, so they don't bend you over and do you dry... but on the real, the vis hood is good overall- i just had mine out in the sun for so long that it started hazing...not sure if its normal or not

vis cf hoods are excellent. just got my hood and the fitment gets a A-. however, the weight of the hood was a little bit heavier then i expected.

 

yes its normal.. CF wasnt made for aesthetics.. most sun baked CF hoods turn a weird yellowish color.

ive felt a few VIS hoods, not feeling any difference in weight from an OEM hood, which is odd..

 

My CF Hood that I'm selling is light as fawk, but I'ts oxidized a bit from the heat in the high deserts.
