Default 90-93 teg axles pulled apart at the inner joint

we were test driving the car after i finished the swap. drove great for a few miles. we pulled into a parting lot. and i did a little slawlum(sp?). did one last left hand turn. (and i was not on it hard either) and bang bang.. hoped out and we could see greese on the axle. get it back to my friends house. and the axle pulled out of the inner joint on the driver side. well it just happen to be my bday yesterday. so, my buddy bought me a new axle that day for my bday. anyway. i'm just curious as to why it would pull out of the inner joint.

car specs:

2nd gen crx
b16, hasport mounts (the new ones), 90-93 teg int shaft and axles.
the car is lowered about 2 1/2in. with no camber kit. (however i dont think this -should- have caused it)

let me see if i understand this correctly.

the driver's side axle pulled out at the connection to the intermediate shaft?

if so, maybe you have the passenger's side and driver's side mixed up? also make sure you had 90-93 teg axles as the 88-89 ones i think are shorter.

note: there has been discussion of this before on the board. if you search i am sure you will find more info on this topic.

Questions that must be answered!!!!

what tranny do u have.??
and did the intermediate shaft come with your motor.?

did you put the correct axle on the right side of the car...??
the FULLY SPLINED axle goes INTO the intermediate shaft.!!

did u take out that inner metal thingy near the front knucle.? this little bad boy..

theres more to this axle issue than the typical "90-93 teg axles"
bullshit response thats always posted .!!!

i searched. nothing.

j1 tranny.

the int shaft and axles came with the swap.

i'm pretty sure they are on the correct sides sence i has the motor in a 4gen hatch 2weeks before. just the same as it is now. and when i replaced the axle with a 90 teg driverside it was the identical to the one that broke.

yeah i took of the dust sheild both on the knucle and axles.

if you think you did everything right, and its working now with the new one. then it was probably one of those freak accidents.
