i currently have a 05 06 style mugen bumper but the thing thats keeping me from putting it on is the fact that you can see my brake coolers, a/c condenser etc. i like the look of the bumper but it doesnt look clean,, any kind of grille or mesh available that would look better???

 

make it. get tabs and put them in with a good adhesive and buy mesh and bend it into place. its a bit of a pain but its the only option i see open. my replica came with the tabs preinstalled. all i did was press the preformed mesh in.

 

Maybe do black mesh though. IMO that looks a little tacky.

 

ya considering my cars black i think im going to go with black mesh,, maybe a bit smaller than the one in the picture.... anyways thanks for the advice

 

i couldnt agree more. id just rather have the mesh there than nothing because its not a permanent move. after winter my fmic and foglights are getting mounted so there wont be any mesh

 

Nice ^^ What sucks is if you were to do black mesh on the color you have, it would look weird also. The silver just isn't as bad but still weird haha. I think the FMIC is the better option though

OP, i was just worried about leaves and stuff getting stuck in my car and thats about all the mesh is good for realistically.

 

black mesh would looks better

 

just go to home depot or lowes and get chicken wire fencing

 

or do it the way it was intended with no mesh...mesh = tacky imo

 

dont do it at all go sell it.

 

maybe black, or you could always get an intercooler and then people wont laugh at you for always smiling

Yeah, but then he would have to get the 05-06 front end. They don't make a Mugen lip for the 02-04 front end. I do like the lip better than the bumper though.
