$1000 for a clean title really worth it?
In my future civic I want to put an AEM EMS in it but the problem is that I'm worried the car won't be able to be insured for comprehensive and therefore not be able to cover the value of the stand alone ECU. So now I'm wondering, is it that much harder to sell a Civic with a Salvage title than one with a clean title? Should I save $1000 and go with a salvage titled car or should I just spend the $3500 and get the car that I want with a clean title? For a civic, what other benefits are there to having a clean title over a salvage titled car?
In nevada you pay you cant get full coverage insurance; and you pay more for liability insurance with salvage/rebuilt title than for the exact same car with clean title
Plus when you try to get rid of it you'll have a hars time selling it. You'll almost be better off parting it out.
Its basically a car that has been sexually abused someone stole its essence

Yeah...around my town most of the civics here have salvage titles due to theft. If you are worried about re-sell value then yeah get a clean title. If you plan on sticking with this car for the long haul, I don't think it matters as long as the car isnt trashed.
You better believe my title is clean though...
