need help with suspension set up
so i just got my ep3 like 2 months ago. what i need help with is the following:
the car came w/ tokico blues . with some aftermarket springs which had no brand. so my problem is that when i got it the car was slammed in the back more than the front. so i bought and installed new tein springs thinking that that was gona even out the drop. turns out that the car its still lower in the back than in the front. so i took it to a shop so they can check to see if the shocks were blown but they said they arent. (im not 100% anyway) .
so im thinking that they are blown but im not sure.
so heres where HT comes in. id like to know what set up do some guys on here have. and wat they would recommend to fix this problem. i was thinking of getting some adjustable illuminas but i dont know how good they are..im looking for a street set up by the way.
also if anyone can recommend a store to get suspension parts at the lowest price available. but not cheap stuff. just looking to get a good deal on brand stuff.
ima post pics of my car so you guys can see what im talking about

Yeah pics would help. If you are looking coils, which I recommend, the cheaper ones would be ksport or megan (spelling?). I have ksport on the DC5 and feel great. Adjustable dampening for your preference of street ride as well
function and form are wonderful.
it would also help if we knew your budget. i think a way to fix your rear end slam is to purchase a camber kit, if you cant afford coilovers just yet.

and when i sell my car im looking to spend no more than 800.

Like others have posted previous to this. It all depends on how much you're willing/able to spend. I ride function & form type 2's, but I had to get a camber kit for my rear. Here is the links to both..

sorry, i accidentally glanced over your post of not wanting to exceed 800. I would recommend skunk2 pro s coilovers then for $810.

OP, check the suspension FAQ thread at the top of this forum. Read up on spring rates and choose what set up will be best for you. Skunk2 is probably the worst set of coilovers you could put on your car besides some random ebay brand. You need to look for something that is stiffer in the rear. I run the Megan straight arm coilovers and they are great. I was quoted $825 shipped for the Megan's from a vendor in the HT market place.
lol....to the op....get a tape mesurer and put the car on a flat place. Mesure the distance from the ground and the lowerest place on the jacking point both ft and rear( 4 inchs behind the front wheel well and 4 inchs infront of the rear wheel well). Do not look at fender gap, that is something a ricer will do. If the car is suspended flat, the fender gap will be less in the rear than the front...thats how honda designed it. fyi, stock ride hight is 6.5 inches from the ground to the low point on the jacking point.
btw....f&f, megan and like are just more crap from the land of the eggroll...you get what you pay for.
