personally, aeromotive makes great pumps. But they are the noisiest damn things around. I'd choose the Bosch inline, that thing flows big numbers, but is relatively quiet.

 

I'd have to disagree with you there VaporTrail. I have the Aeromotive 1000hp pump in my civic, and I can hardly hear it when the car is running. Or...maybe I just can't hear it over the 3" Thermal w/no cat.

 

Well, I will agree with John. I think that your exhaust is drowning out your pump. Those things are noisy. Good though that you cant hear it and just alittle turbo spooling.

I wonder if this one is as loud as some of there others being that it flows less. I just like aeromotive because they are like 30 mins. from my house Got to love local support.

Well, im my car I run 550's with static pressure at 40. Im boosting 11 psi now which goes to 51. I know after I build the motor and want to get that duty cycle up there the fuel pressures will get kinda high.

This would be a good pump for guys running larger injectors than 550 and high boost pressures, or smaller injectors and low boost levels.

 

if you want to see some noise weldon pumps are freakign insane... especially when you run two of htem

 

I've got this pump and it's sitting in the hatch mere feet away from me. The only time I can hear it is at idle. The exhaust and road noise will drown it out at almost any speed.

 

How long have you had it? What do you think of it? This is currently one question in part of my setup and I like to keep componets matching as much as possiable, I.E. aeromotive pump, fpr, and filter Thanks for any insight

No problems with it. It's loud, but will pump more fuel than you'll ever use.
