Default Any G-Force Dog Box users?

I have been trying to decide on a dog box and have narrowed it down to two and G- force is one of them. Just wondering if anyone is using them or has and what are peoples experiences with them. I can tell there customer service is awsome and is a big plus for me, but can there gears hold up and take the abuse like the other big names. Just got off the phone with them today and they did make a case brace and was tested and said it worked great. So your guys imput would be great, if you dont wanna post about it please pm me.

thanks guys.

I have owned mine for a yr. I've had 24.5s, 25s and 26s on this transmission i have never cracked a case. It has pulled 1.6 60s and 1.7s 60s. G-Force uses their "special fluid" they usually supply it when you get it. Thats all i was running in the transmission. This was on my 800whp Integra.

I know people shift clutchless with the libertys and ppg's, have you tried on your g-force. Or you just full throttle shift.

i have heard gforce is coming out with a new gear set similar to the ppg which has that little thingy you put down in the bellhousing so you have less of a chance to crack the bellhousing.

I was there last monday allday w/ lou assembling our box.Nicest bunch of guys. They do have a case brace set-up coming out which Felix was the first one to try out this weekend. We were going to be the next one but couldnt get it in time for the etown event.Im not sure on the bracing they are using w/o trying it.They milled out the case for a full size bearing and the brace unlike ppg uses a smaller bearing for the brace to fit w/o milling the case out.If anybody has a box already they prob have the older version with the smaller input shaft that was first based off of a cable trans. But now the shaft and cuff design has been changed and beefied up which i like alot.Lou said he wants to redesign the gear profiles and make them heavier and make some more ratios and final ratios. They seem really interested in helping to make their boxes better but do need input on what we want done to make them last. The only issues i have heard and seen from the broken parts in the bin they keep is the older input shafts breakin.

lou and I were talking today and let me say he is a very nice guy and I know I can count on the customer service, and its in the states. The others I dunno what to expect on the cust service. He told me felix tested it over the weekend and the brace seems to do the trick but he was having other problems so dunno. I have heard about the imput shaft problem on the older model. I really like he does all the assembley and sends it back to you, cause when I open a trans Im like WFT! lol. And the price is pretty nice also. I do agree I would like maybe a couple more options on ratios but im sure I can make the ones he has work but im going to have to talk to him about the stronger gears he is talking about. Im pretty set on the G-force though.

thanks for you imput sir

May want to ask Garry Eng (TheWickedOne). I'm pretty sure he has one in his car and has for a while now....

Gt40eg on here has one. He ran his fastest time with it making 751hp. When he first got it, the person that sold it to him sent it with the wrong input shaft so he called up gforce and they had one sent to him the next day. great customer service. we have 15 dyno pulls and about 10 passes on it with absolutely no issues. G-Force
P.S. he is selling that complete trans.

I only had a chance to launch the car twice both were 1.54 60 ,
the new gear set is good and the way the brace is don't think you can brake the case.
I had never broken one even with the old set , g force has different pinion bearing and it helps a bunch ..if you looking for a trans go with the g force ,call Lou
and there costumer support is the best.
